Industries, Inc., the sole
manufacturer of the patented

today announced the appointment of
General Anthony Zinni, USMC (Ret.)
as President of International
Operations.
“It is indeed my great pleasure to
announce that General Anthony Zinni,
USMC (Ret.) has been appointed
President of M.I.C. Industries,
Inc.'s International Operations,”
said Michael S. Ansari, Founder and
CEO. “In this capacity, General
Zinni will have global
responsibility for implementation of
M.I.C.'s strategic international
marketing and developmental
programs.”
Prior to his new appointment,
General Zinni was Special Assistant
to the Chairman & CEO. Before
joining M.I.C. Industries, Inc.,
General Zinni was Commander in Chief
of the United States Central Command
before his retirement in July 2000.
His military service has taken him
to over 70 countries including
deployments to the Mediterranean,
the Caribbean, the Western Pacific,
Northern Europe, Africa, and Asia .
Since his military retirement,
General Zinni has participated in
diplomatic missions assigned to him
by the President of the United
States to Somalia , Pakistan , and
Ethiopia-Eritrea and in State
Department missions involving the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict and
conflicts in Indonesia and the
Philippines.
General Zinni holds a bachelor's
degree in economics from Villanova
University , a master's in
international relations from Salve
Regina College , a master's in
management and supervision from
Central Michigan University , and
honorary doctorates from William and
Mary College and the Maine Maritime
Academy . His military decorations
and awards, along with personal
decorations from numerous countries
and civilian awards from various
universities and distinguished
organizations, number over 60.
General Zinni has held academic
positions that include the Stanley
Chair in Ethics at the Virginia
Military Institute, the Nimitz Chair
at the University of
California-Berkeley, and the board
of Villanova University 's Center
for Responsible Leadership and
Governance. He has worked with the
University of California 's
Institute on Global Conflict and
Cooperation, the U.S. Institute of
Peace, and the Henry Dunant Centre
for Humanitarian Dialogue in Geneva
. General Zinni is President of
UCLA's Center for Middle East
Development, as well as a
Distinguished Advisor at the Center
for Strategic and International
Studies.
